Optimal pure proportional navigation for maneuvering targets

Abstract

This paper considers the optimal pure proportional navigation (PPN) guidance law with time-varying navigation gains. Based on the optimization process, optimal navigation gain is derived, and a recursive optimal PPN scheme is proposed for maneuvering targets.
