Abstract
A composite bandpass low noise amplifier, designed by the image parameter method and semi-lumped component approach, is described and results for image filtering are presented. Moreover, the source-load coupling capacitor incorporation with system grounding inductors give the amplifiers controllable finite transmission zeros in the stopband without adding any extra elements. By properly adjusting the system inductance values, the zero point at a high-side skirt to suppress the harmonic frequency for linearity improvement can be easily manipulated. Good skirt selectivity and controllable stopband characteristics can be achieved simultaneously.
