Phase transition of Co-doped ZnO

Abstract

Temperature dependences of dielectric constants and heat flow of Co-doped ZnO were studied. The relationship between the phase transition temperature and concentration of doped impurities was studied. The results show that the replacement of Zn ions by 2% Co ions induces a phase transition. The phase transition mechanism is not well understood yet, but the phase transition temperature is dependent on the doping concentration.
