Abstract
High optical efficiency and low power consumption are critical for display devices. We have analyzed and compared the power consumption of AMOLED and AM-μLED displays for smartphones, notebooks and TVs under the same ambient contrast ratio. OLED exhibits a lower power consumption than μLED at low luminance, but μLED takes over at high luminance.
