Abstract
A single phase of Sr//2CrWO//6 was synthesized by the solid state reaction of oxide mixtures at 1400 degree C in the atmosphere of H//2 plus H//2O. The lattice constant was 7. 818 plus or minus 0. 002 angstroms with the space group Fm3m. Superstructure lines in the X-ray diffraction pattern showed that Cr-ion and W-ion were ordered partially ( approximately equals 66%) in this compound. This compound was ferrimagnetic and the Curie temperature was 448 K. The electrical conductivity was 1. 2 multiplied by 10** minus **4 (ohm multiplied by (times) cm)** minus **1 at 300 K.
