Abstract
Micrometer pixelated patterning of Coumarin 6 molecules on surface regions of a poly(ethylmethacrylate) film with dimensions of a several millimetres was realised using a laser molecular implantation technique. The patial distribution of implanted Coumarin 6 molecules and the extended pattern were observed using fluorescence microscopy. Spatially selective implantation of Coumarin 6 molecules within a diameter of less than 5μm was achieved. The molecular implantation or ablation threshold with respect to the laser fluence was observed.
