Quasi-Phase-Matched Water Window/keV High-Harmonic Generation from He1+ Ions

Abstract

A new scheme of quasi-phase-matched high-harmonic generation from He1+ ions is proposed. The relative conversion efficiencies for water window/keV operations are calculated to be about 15% of the perfect phase-matching condition.
