Abstract

This chapter first introduces the classification of mechanisms in ancient books based on the degree of clarity of the illustrations. Then, a reconstruction design methodology for mechanisms with uncertain structures is presented. Finally, three different types of mechanisms with illustrations are provided as examples to explain the proposed procedure.
