Resonance cone measurements of non-thermal plasma properties in the mid-latitude ionosphere

Abstract

Results from the resonance cone experiment COREX are reported. Besides electron density and - temperature measurements, the instrument is intended for measuring non-Maxwellian features of the distribution function. The temperature anomaly at the height of 90-120km is discussed.
