Abstract

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy). This article has been retracted at the request of the authors. The work presented in this publication is very similar to the already published article (an extended study) by the same authors: “Polyvinylbutyral assisted synthesis and characterization of chalcopyrite quaternary semiconductor Cu(InxGa1x)Se2 nanofibers by electrospinning route, Polymer 52 (2011) 116-121” (e.g., similar title, introduction and a part of results, but slightly different materials). The authors submitted first their manuscript to Thin Solid Films and later on to Polymer. The paper submitted in Polymer was accepted much earlier than the one in Thin Solid Films. The authors tried to request a retraction shortly thereafter in May 2011. However, the communication was lost, and no action was taken. The authors and the journal apologize for any inconvenience caused
