Abstract

Based on the sliding mode control, this paper proposes a robust systematic design procedure to suppress the chaos found in the four-dimensional energy resource system. This approach only uses a single controller to realize chaos suppression, which reduces the cost and complexity for control implementation. Furthermore, the proposed controller is robust such that the chaos can be suppressed even with uncertainties in the control input. Numerical results are included to validate the effectiveness of the proposed robust control scheme.
