Robust controller design for systems with mismatching uncertainty

Abstract

In this paper, the Riccati-type robust controller design for systems subjected to structured uncertainties is considered. By decomposing the uncertainties into matching and mismatching parts, a robust controller which consists of two parts to overcome the matching and mismatching uncertainties, respectively, is proposed. Using the goodness of stable systems, a controller design procedure to achieve a better robust performance for uncertain systems is also proposed.
