Robust couplers designed by fast quasiadiabatic elimination

Abstract

We propose robust waveguide couplers by combining adiabatic elimination and the fast quasiadiabatic dynamics. The new fast quasiadibatic elimination (FAQUEL) coupler is short and have good robustness against wavelength and fabrication variations.
