Self-regulation ground faults model for microgrid distribution

Abstract

A direct building algorithm for microgrid distribution (MGD) power flow analysis is proposed in this paper. The MGD fault current analysis can be conducted easily based on this algorithm. The building algorithm is easily programmable and can be accomplished by a simple search technique. The network topology changes were considered along with the proposed self-regulation ground faults current (GFC) model. The proposed model is robust and accurate. As a result, the validity of this paper was demonstrated through simulation of proposed algorithm.
