Abstract

An attempt is made to demonstrate that both the shape and phases of ZnS nanocrystals can be controlled under mild conditions. Unusual two-dimensional wurtzite ZnS single-crystal nanosheets with micrometer-scale lateral dimensions and flake-like ZnO dendrites can be rapidly generated with high yield by a simple template method.
