This research studies the micro channel of the shear mode piezoelectric printhead when it injects working fluid under pressure. The relationship between pressure and ink channel is discussed by controlling pressure to inject single drop. The critical pressure of printhead injecting single drop was found with the size of the micro ink channel width 300μm, height 360μm, and the diameter orifice 50μm. Shih-Wun Huang et al  used finite element analysis software ANSYS to simulate the relationship among stress strain, and voltage. By using the result of the critical pressure of printhead and the result of the simulation between stress and voltage, we can easy know the exact voltage to control the motion of the injecting.
