Abstract
Specific-heat measurements have been made on V3GaHx for x=0, 0.2, 1.4, and 1.9 in the temperature range 1.2-20 K. In addition to increased lattice parameter and depressed transition temperature with increased hydrogen concentrations, the Debye temperature increases and the electronic density of states drops, both dramatically. Decreased electron-phonon coupling is also indicated with hydrogenation.
