N2 - The superconducting transition temperature Tc has been measured for the selenide ternaries (Sn1-xEux)1.2Mo6Se8 both at ambient and high pressures. Similar to the sulfides (Sn1-xEux)1.2Mo6S8, the Tc of the selenides decreases only slightly with increasing x below 0.4, but rapidly above. The pressure effect on Tc is highly unusual, varying from negatice to positive, and from linear to nonlinear, depending on x. The results and their implications are discussed.
