Abstract
An observer-based scheme for synchronizing two hyperchaotic oscillators via a scalar transmitted signal is presented. The driven system is designed on the basis of the state observer design technique. The proposed scheme also achieves a generalized synchronization of the drive-driven hyperchaotic systems in which the drive system is subjected to constant system uncertainties.
