The application of neural network to upper limb function discrimination and torque estimation

Abstract

In recent years, the neural network model has been widely applied in various areas for its parallel, distributed and adaptive features. This paper a mixture one-net-one-class neural network (MONOCNN) to discriminate four primitive functions of the upper extremity limb, and a modified self-organizing mapping neural network to estimate the resulting torques.
