The dual-tapered fiber sensors coated with nanoparticles

Abstract

We reported the design of the dual-tapered fibers. After depositing the nanoparticles on the tapered regions, the localized surface-plasmon resonance may induce the absoprtion spectra. This compact sensor can perform real-time refractive index sensing.
