N2 - This paper introduces the Green Factory Building Evaluation System (called EEWH-GF) in Taiwan. EEWH-GF is aimed at industrial building, which has developed the highest density in Taiwan, in the world. The Taiwanese industry formerly achieved half the results while expending twice the effort in economic development, irrespective of the ecological environment. Several efforts are required to recover the increasing damage to the environment. The EEWH-GF contains two necessary indicators, Executives promise and Commissioning (CX), and four aspects: ecology, energy, waste, and health. By using EEWH-GF evaluation system, designers can modify building proposals in the design phase to meet project requirements. Not only is the system excellent for sustainable environment, but also for upgrading the industrial advantage of Taiwan in the world.
