We studied the electro-absorption spectra for tetragonal systems under an electric field of intensity 50 kV/cm (or 30 kV/cm). The small lateral size (50 x 50 Å) allows the observance of one-dimensional characteristic (wire-like) Franz-Keldysh oscillation (FKO) for tetragons of length longer than 500 Å. The quantum confine effect dominates for shorter tetragons (dot-like). The wire-like to dot-like transition can be clearly demonstrated by examining the FKO characteristic peaks in the scaling Fourier transformation of modulation spectra.
