Thermal buckling of a laminated cylindrical plate subjected to a temperature change is studied. The governing differential equations for Donnell-type laminated cylindrical shells are used and Galerkin's method is employed to determine the critical buckling temperature. Clamped and simply supported boundary conditions are both considered. The effects of various parameters on thermal buckling are examined.
