Abstract
It is difficult to scan the fetal cardiovascular system in detail with traditional two-dimensional ultrasonography, especially in determining its correct position and anatomic relationship with other viscera. In this report, we describe the use of three-dimensional ultrasound to detect atrioventricular septal defects, polyvalvular dysplasia and eventration of the diaphragm in a fetus with trisomy 18.
