Abstract
The osmotic compressibility and correlation length of a colloid-polymer system containing grafted silica particles in cyclohexane were analyzed using turbidity measurement techniques. The turbidity was calculated from the absorbance measured with incident light of wavelength 600 nm using Bausch-Lomb spectrophotometer at 24°C. The results show that the renormalized critical exponents of the osmotic compressibility and correlation length are 1.39±0.01 and 0.71±0.01 respectively.
