Abstract

In this paper, an induction coil that can revolve by driving a high frequency source up to ultrasonic range is presented. It has a resonant-tank circuit on the rotor. The operating principle of the coil is introduced to explain why it can revolve by a high frequency source. A prototype of two-phase four-pole high frequency fan was implemented to demonstrate the practicability of the theory.
