Abstract

Economic development improves the selection of construction materials by users. The decision-making process of users’ demands determines the marketability and application design of construction materials, which has an important impact on the development and construction of urban environment. This research takes granite as an example, the questionnaire was designed by using the method of semantic difference of users. 130 valid questionnaires were collected and conducted factor analysis by SPSS software. Six groups of visual image adjective vocabulary were obtained, then combined with selected 10 samples to design the questionnaire, obtained visual fuzzy value by triangular fuzzy number operation. The research shows that different granite samples have unique visual image, “Classical” visual image evaluation has the smallest difference, while the “Elegance” has the greatest difference. The visual images of four groups of granite materials have high similarity and can be replaced by each other. Visual evaluation results can effectively reflect the human characteristics of different urban users, help to improve the success rate of decision-making, and guide the development of urban human environment construction.
