Abstract

This paper presents a method using adaptive filter with the recursive least square lattice structure to solve the problem of EGG interference coupling in the surface diaphragmatic EMG signal. From the spectral analysis, it is shown that this type of adaptive filter could eliminate EGG satisfactorily. In addition, due to its fast convergent rate, real-time processing with the hardware implementation become possible.
