Abstract
High-density vertically aligned ZnO/ZnGa2O4 core-shell nanorods were synthesized on ZnO/glass templates at 600 °C by reactive evaporation. X-ray diffraction spectra revealed the composition of the sample. The core-shell structure was observed by energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopic mapping. The photoluminescence spectrum exhibited a strong peak at around 481 nm and a very high luminescent intensity.
