Abstract

The viscosity-driven impurity transport in a stellarator in the 1/v and collisionless detrapping regimes is calculated. It is found that the impurity flux tends to go inward radially if all the species are in the 1/v regime and tends to go outward if all the species are in the collisionless detrapping regime.
