Abstract

Wave forces acting on buried pipelines in a permeable seabed are studied in the paper. Two types of gravity waves are discussed: (1) Monochromatic waves and (2) solitary waves. The mathematical problems are formulated and reduced to an integral equation. A numerical technique is introduced to solve the resulting integral equation. Results are shown for both single pipeline and multipipelines.
