Abstract
This investigation reports a novel wide-banded cone lasing emission based on a planar dye-doped cholesteric liquid crystal film with a single pitch. The lasing wavelength in this lasing distributes continuously from ∼676.7 to ∼595.6nm measured at continuously increasing oblique angle relative to the helical axis from O° to 50°.
