This paper examines the geographic locations of four states conquered by the Chu 楚, namely Shen 申, Xi 息, Ruo 鄀, and Lai 賴, in the Spring and Autumn Period. This article uses the Zuo Zhuan(左傳 The Commentary of Zuo) as the core material for examining geomanticism, which is supported by historical events related to spatial activities such as wars, relocation of states, and alliances to argue the thesis of this article. In addition, this paper analyzes the spatial locations and historical migration trajectories of the above four states by combining relevant research data and archaeological reports with digital map data such as "Chinese Civilization in Time and Space (Simplified Version) CCTS Lite."
