This paper proposes a new method for firms to choose between different corporate strategies when establishing new business The technique is by analysing the relationships between strategies and the capabilities within firms from past researches We collect papers from Thomson Reuters Web of Science ranging from 1994 to 2014 which usually focused on probing into the relationships between single capability and certain strategy The software Thomson Data Analyzer helps us to conduct co-word analysis by running correlation analysis function It also generates the correlation maps and matrices which make the results more straightforward Propositions regarding the relationships between strategies and capabilities are made once the analytical results is generated Possible future developments will also be shown in the last chapter
