Abstract

In this thesis a novel three-leg phase-shift DC-to-DC converter with current-doubler rectifier is proposed This converter is an isolated converter whose primary side is constructed by three legs six switches and two transformers And the control strategy is that switch signals in the same leg are complemented Besides take switch signals in first leg as base the switch signal of second leg is phase shifting an angle from the switch signal of first leg the switch signal of third leg is phase shifting an angle from the switch signal of second leg The secondary side is constructed by two pairs of current doubler rectifier Because there are four inductors utilized in secondary side this converter is suitable for high current output application This converter combines the phase shift control which can achieve zero voltage switching with the parallel-operated concept A laboratory prototype with input voltage 400 V output voltage 48 V and output power 1 44 kW is built and the control strategy is fulfilled by digital signal processor (DSP) The efficiency is up to 93 5 %
