Abstract

This study is based on the literatures regarding family governance family office and related studies about the establishment of family office This study mainly discussed the decision-making factors for the establishment of family office from the perspective of Taiwan family business This study selected clients of D accounting firm as our research participants and screened ten Delphi experts and ten AHP experts respectively In the meanwhile the online questionnaires and purposive sampling are also adopted According to results the findings of this study are as follows: 1 Among the three decision-Making dimensions in the first layer “Inheritance Needs” has the highest weight followed by “Wealth Increment” and “Understanding on Family Office” 2 Among the nine decision-Making indicators in the second layer “Sustainable Operation” has the highest weight followed by “Family Assets Growth Rate” “Family Spirit” “Asset Allocation” “Government’s Immigration Programme” “Tax Planning” “Governance Mechanism” “Functional Positioning” and “Cost-Effectiveness”
