Advantages of Intelligent Logistics in Semiconductors Industry - A Case Study of the Front-end Semiconductor Manufacturing

Abstract

Looking ahead the global semiconductor factory to focus on the Microelectronics process the key processes and factory integration optimization to provide semiconductor factory customers in the process environment At the ever-changing technology continuous improvement of the industry and the support of policies China has actively developed the localization of the semiconductor industry further driving the rapid growth of IC output value and gradually forming a competitive situation with Taiwan Therefore prospect to the future in order to improve the level of China's semiconductor industry it is necessary to actively invest resources and funds to strengthen its process equipment In order to enhance their competitiveness wafer manufacturers in the semiconductor manufacturing industry are now introducing the concept and connotation of "Industry 4 0" into the semiconductor process in order to achieve a higher level of process performance thereby helping to cre-ate a smart factory to achieve semiconductor "smart manufacturing " Vision driving a more efficient manufacturing process This research has three research purposes: First Has the intelligent transport system improved the competitive advantage of the semiconductor front-end factory? Second through expert interviews the importance of each key success factor and the implementation strategy factors is gradually analyzed to find the competitive advantage of the semiconductor front-end process equipment in the industry Third based on the key competitive advantages obtained from the research results the decision-making factors are combined and the development strategy is developed to provide reference for the decision making of relevant institutions such as the semiconductor industry and government departments The preliminary research methods are conducted by means of expert questionnaires The design of the questionnaire interviews will be designed with reference to previous research and the content of domestic and international cases and professional reports will be collated for the most backward comparison The questionnaire is expected to be completed and issued in mid-2019 Our research shows the intelligent logistic system is not only a description of products or services but also a representative meaning of the technological development in this generation It shows the value of different levels of competitive advantage of enterprise all because the discussion of the intelligent logistic system has different depths and breadths Meanwhile the connection between the intelligent logistic system and business competitive advantage demonstrate the significant influence which brought us a new research topic At last We provide the industry as a research reference according to the results and recommendations of this study
