Abstract

Taiwan's National Development Plan's 106-year plan for "5 + 2" industrial transformation "new agriculture" promotes the creation of a sixth industrialization refers to the multiplication of primary secondary and tertiary industries (1 x 2 x 3 = 6) to achieve greater value added in products and services It means that the industry of agricultural product processing the future competitiveness is not just manufacturing combined with marketing services is the future trend so the continuous development of business models is an indispensable strategy This study mainly explores the business model of Taiwan's agricultural product processing industry the researcher tried to find out the type of business model and provided some advices to keep steady growth The researcher selected third agricultural product processing company which established more than ten years and face to face interview with their relevant a person in charge Our interview guide based on “Business Model Canvas” which conducted by Osterwalder & Pigneur in 2010 The researcher also followed this model to analyze these cases The results can be summarized as the following business models in two ways: (1)A large scale of agricultural product processing industry it is recommended that continuous innovation products become the market leader as well as the marketing promotion of its own brands while establishing the competitive advantage of processing and marketing services (2)A medium-sized of agricultural product processing industry the strategy is to build a partnership alliance create additional value added for processing and create a mutually beneficial industrial economy
