Analysis of innovation strategy for sustainable development based on a various of life cycle definitions

Abstract

Due to global management and technological progress rapid changes in the industrial environment and rapid changes in consumer preferences the life cycle of products continues to shorten Products with short life cycles fast technological updates strong personalization and fashion and fierce competition have short product life cycles The hidden problems are not only overproduction and inventory problems but also other environmental problems After the countries set the sustainable development goals countries and enterprises have put forward strategies to implement the sustainable development goals Consumer values have changed in recent years For companies to continue to expand they must innovate according to different types of business models Enterprises must think from the perspective of customers what functions aesthetics and social values customers really want and need and propose innovative transformations to respond to this wave of digital reforms Thinking mode can be used for innovative thinking by using Brown's design thinking and U theory to explore customers' decision journey During the product decline period innovative methods can be used to improve and create the product life cycle thereby extending the product life cycle When designing products the company should use the central concept of sustainable development in each stage of the product life cycle and combine the common elements of the life cycle through technology such as companies products and consumers to establish the best product life cycle The innovation strategy can be combined with Moore’s innovations at all stages of the product life cycle and Larry Keeley’s ten innovation entry points from the enterprise product and consumer experience to inspire innovation encourage the use of innovative technology and extend the product life cycle or renew Innovation life cycle
