Case Study on Business Model Planning of Affordable Housing: Using M Construction Company as an Example

Abstract

SUMMARY The construction industry is regarded as an important key industry for the country's economic development It not only affects the upstream and downstream related industries but also plays an important role in boosting the country's economic growth In recent years with the rising housing prices the people's salary level has not yet improved and the gap between the rich and the poor has become larger and larger causing the majority of people to gradually lose their ability to purchase houses which has gradually affected the quality of life of the people and caused potential hidden concerns The real estate market has been aware of the shift in people's spending power and has gradually changed the pattern of construction Many of the construction companies have launched "parity housing" to build a case to actively attack the small citizens and the first-purchasing market The core of affordable housing is indeed "parity" but more importantly the construction company is "administering parity " In view of this this study aims to explore the planning of a cheap residential business model assisting case-building companies to stand out in the highly competitive affordable housing market and continue to make steady profits This study uses case study method based on the business model canvas map interviews with the heads of four domestic construction companies that provide affordable housing and plans the blueprint for the future affordable business model of the case company
