This study examines the effect of weather on cost stickiness during 1988-2018 based on the psychological literature about the amount of sunshine exposure is positively related to the mood of managers The weather conditions in the cities where US listed company headquarters are located are used as proxy variables for manager’s mood Empirical evidence found that sunshine exposure and cost stickiness is significantly positively correlated
