Abstract

In this thesis the exact non-Markovian dynamics of a photonic system coupled to a general non-Markovian reservoir involves single-photon and two-photon processes is investigated We use the coherent state path integral to derive the exact master equation involving two-photon process We study the two-photon effect in both the weak coupling regime and the strong coupling regime We also discuss the non-Markovian dynamics with squeezing
