Abstract

The implementation of ERP system has attracted the great attention in the recent years It works with a variety of business platforms to support enhance departmental communication and insight It also includes core modules that focus on enterprise planning to establish the strategic and operational goals of an enterprise However there is often a mismatch between the shop floor and ERP system that limits manufacturing management For some particular manufacturing industries and assembly equipment manufacturers with characteristics of large components and complex product structure there are some common problems not easily can be solved even after implementing ERP system such as floor space shortage and waste of labor hours in checking materials The research follows TOC to find out the most important limiting factor and identify problems In order to solve these problems using TRIZ theory to get solutions to improve floor space utilization and production efficiency The research offers a way of building a better workflow process before implementing ERP system The benefit is to reduce the cost of waste on developing additional systems
