Index Calculus Method using Number Field Sieve

Abstract

In this paper we introduce several methods to test an integer for smoothness it is an important in beginning then we talk about solving the discrete logarithm problem in the original index calculus method Finally we illustrate how to use the number field sieve in the index calculus to solve the discrete logarithm problem
