Abstract

Algal-bacterial consortium is considered to be an effective control method to inhibit the growth of vibrio Based on the results of previous studies in the laboratory it is known that marine green algae: Picochlorum sp strain S1b is combined with three marine bacteria: Labrenzia sp After strain #8 Muricauda sp strain #50 and Arenibacter sp strain #61 are co-cultured to form an algal-bacterial consortium it can significantly inhibit Vibrio parahaemolyticus (reduce the number of viable cells) The purpose of this study is to investigate the mechanism of vibrio parahaemolyticus growth inhibition by S1b algal-bacterial consortium First in order to confirm whether its antibacterial ability is related to the secretion of antibacterial substances various extraction methods were used to purify the algal-bacterial consortium broth use mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance The structure was confirmed by the method and the result identified a special 2-6 Disaccharide and adenosine In order to avoid the interference of organic matter in the medium in the subsequent experiments inorganic Walne′s medium was used to cultivate the S1b algal-bacterial consortium Analyze the antibacterial activity of the culture medium by the checkerboard assay at the same time try to use the method of adding V parahaemolyticus to the algal-bacterial consortium to induce antibacterial activity It turns out that although the algal-bacterial consortium can obviously inhibit V parahaemolyticus the supernatant from removing the algae cells has no obvious inhibitory effect on vibrio Try to use sonication to break the cell to test the intracellular activity of algae It was found that the supernatant after breaking had obvious antibacterial activity and it was found that the antibacterial substance may be present in algae cells
