Abstract

As the information systems involvement in every different sector is increasing this paper specifically focuses on e-government or more detailed central bank information systems success Based on DeLone and McLean’s Information Systems Success Models and Seddon and Kiew’s Path Model information systems success and influential factors for successful systems are evaluated exampling two different systems representing external and internal systems of the Central Bank of Mongolia Comparison analysis is developed using different research methods quantitative approach for the external system and mixed methods approach for the internal system depending on the different amount of users Measured by evaluation of actual users of the systems research results show mostly positive conclusions along with unsupported results of service quality and system quality Negative and insignificant results are further explained by interviews with internal system users The external system is resulted having more positive and significant effects compared to the internal system
