Inspired by the recent experimental development we use the master equation approach to investigate the non-Markovian decoherence dynamics of cavity QED coupled strongly with a spin ensemble under the external field driving Our quantum theory for open systems depicts completely the experimental decoherence results We also explore the possible quantum memory effects through the study of two-time correlations in this cavity system We further show how quantum fluctuation affects the memory of the cavity system
