Fabrication of mutually coupled lasers is easier than sophisticated photonic integrated circuit (PIC) that generates microwave [22-24] Two mutually coupled lasers are generally operated by injected current which cannot tune coupling rate and frequency in both lasers separately In this paper we distinguish the coupling path to investigate its coupling condition individually We demonstrate microwave generation with frequency higher than the detuning frequency is feasible In addition the asymmetry in coupling rate is increased a broader operating region where microwave generation of frequency higher than the detuning frequency is observed
