Abstract

Slope protection and disaster prevention are the main means to suppress the occurrence of disasters The use of on-site data collection hydrological survey manual observation automatic monitoring program analysis and engineering techniques are the basic elements to assist slope stability; properly track slope topographic changes Reducing improper human development and appropriately reducing the load of bad slopes is also one of the good strategies for stabilizing slopes Therefore how to deal with the slope stability is the reason for this study This research is aimed at monitoring and discussing the slope changes and damages of the connecting roads around the Chia-Shien Cofferdam over the years in addition to the Resistivity Image Profiling (RIP) method together with geological drilling and hydrological data collection And oblique tube observations etc mutually confirm and infer the geological structure groundwater layer and interpretation of possible sliding surfaces In addition according to the soil strength parameters of the drilling samples and the slope stability analysis with the limit equilibrium method the feasible methods of slope treatment are analyzed Set up drainage facilities to intercept runoff and lower the groundwater layer on the surface of the above slope set soil nails and free lattice beams on the lower slope to prevent surface erosion and increase the sliding resistance of the slope Set up a row of piles to prevent slippage which is in line with shallow sliding surface analysis The code should be used as a reference for slope protection
